Allowed & Prohibited Items
1. Allowed items
You can use 121Deliveries to send the following:
- Groceries
- Takeaway food
- Alcohol
- Tobacco products
- Vaping products
- Over-the-counter medicines
- Prescription medicines
- Documents
- Flowers
- Gifts
- Small parcels
2. Age-restricted items
The following items are age-restricted and may only be delivered to recipients aged 18 or over:
- Alcohol
- Tobacco products
- Vaping products
3. Rules for age-restricted deliveries
- The customer must confirm at checkout that they are 18 or over.
- The courier must verify the recipient's age on delivery.
- The courier must refuse delivery if a valid photo ID is not provided.
- The courier must refuse alcohol delivery if the recipient appears intoxicated.
4. Prescription medicines
- Couriers deliver sealed packages only.
- No medical advice is provided by 121Deliveries or its couriers.
- The customer is responsible for lawfully ordering any prescription medicines.
5. Customer confirmation
When placing an order, every customer must tick the following confirmation:
"I confirm that the contents are legal and that I meet any age requirements."
Customers must also tick a second confirmation:
"I confirm that the items are legal and permitted to transport under applicable law."
6. Prohibited items
The following items must never be sent via 121Deliveries:
- Any illegal items
- Weapons and ammunition
- Explosives
- Any items prohibited by law
7. Platform responsibility
- 121Deliveries is a marketplace connecting clients with independent couriers.
- The platform does not inspect, verify, or control the contents of any order.
- Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that items are legal to transport.
- Couriers independently decide whether to accept or reject any order.
- 121Deliveries is not responsible for the legality, condition, safety, or delivery of transported items.
8. Courier discretion
Couriers may reject any order at their sole discretion, including any order that appears illegal, unsafe, misdescribed, or otherwise non-compliant with this policy or applicable law.
